We Have Amazing Clients
Today as I sit at my desk, the helm of the social media marketing agency I’ve worked tirelessly to grow over the past 12 years, I feel immensely proud of all the clients that Socialike represents. But it wasn’t always like this. As recently as nine months ago, we took on a client that I knew in my heart was not a good fit for us, but we did it because the compensation offered felt too good to pass up. Not surprisingly, this client only lasted about six months with us. I promised myself from that day on I would only accept brands that fit my personal beliefs, matched the values of Socialike, and would allow for an arena my team could excel.
We may not work with the biggest or most well-known brands out there, but I can say that every brand we represent is trying to do better for the world. That doesn’t mean they don’t care about making money. But they are conscious about how they make money, what they put out into the world, and ensuring their impact on people and the environment is positive.
The power and influence of social media can be frightening, especially for young children. I struggle with this fact and that what I do may not always be of the greatest good for humankind. However, that feeling is reconciled when I look at my client roster. I know I can be proud of what I am doing because I know the brands we represent are brands that “do the right thing.”
DrTung’s is an oral health care brand rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom, and they are the ones who launched my Ayurvedic journey. Because of DrTung’s, I have taken a deep dive into the world of Ayurveda, and that knowledge has profoundly enhanced my personal and professional life.
Many CPG brands are disguised as marketing companies. Dickinson’s family of brands manufactures their own products and specializes in witch hazel. Indeed, many notable companies do lots of things, but Dickinson’s has a focus: pure, organic witch hazel. This intense focus is why they are the best at what they do.
Have you ever used dish soap that actually elevated your experience of washing dishes? JR Watkins IS that brand. Sold throughout the mass market, they meet the highest standards of an environmentally “clean” brand. It also smells fantastic.
Annemarie Börlind is one of the most prominent beauty brands in Germany and is the first European brand Socialike has ever worked with. Most of their products are inspired by and produced in the region where they were founded, the Black Forest. I am beyond impressed with their superior standards for not only 100% clean beauty products but also social and environmental sustainability. They are a first-class example of the European beauty standards that we can only hope will eventually spread to the USA.
How can you tell if a fish oil brand is working? One way is to test your omega levels. I was taking the country’s #1 fish oil brand before I met Wileys Finest. I switched to their brand and cut my dosage in half, and my omega levels rose (*anecdotal evidence).
